To Jay and All the Staff at JNC Development:
First I would like to thank you again for selecting All Seasons Lawn as the landscaping subcontractor for the Lee project. It was a pleasure doing business with JNC Development, Inc. I would also like to comment on what a positive experience it was working with JNC. I look forward to doing business with JNC Development, Inc. in the very near future.
When I was asked to quote the job, I was met by Jay who completely and accurately made clear the scope of work All Seasons Lawn was expected to perform. I find a clear idea of the scope of work to be an absolute requirement when quoting a job. Having a general contractor know his requirements makes my job a whole lot easier.
During the second jobsite meeting, this time with the homeowners, Jay focused on ensuring the needs of the customer. I usually find that general contractors do not seem to have enough time to spend with the customers. Our duty is to understanding the customer expectations. By making the customer involved in the quote process, I believe that they become comfortable and ultimately a more satisfied customer. It is very important to All Seasons Lawn to provide excellence in customer service. By meeting with the customers and myself, I feel that Jay really shares my attention to customer service.
The second meeting also revealed that the customer wanted to make several small changes to the job. Since the bidding was not completed I was easily able to modify the quote for the job. This level of attention to detail, arranging the meeting, resolved possible problems that could have complicated the job, but were averted because Jay took the time to arrange this second meeting.
After JNC had informed us that our quote was accepted All Seasons Lawn began to work on the exact date that Jay had scheduled for us, which in turn helped me keep my other projects on schedule. I am sure you understand the importance of keeping a schedule. With JNC accurately scheduling dates our job on-site became trouble-free.
When All Seasons Lawn arrived on-site, the lot was in excellent condition. Because of the exceptionally clean and organized work area there were no surprises for us to undertake. The other subcontractors at the jobsite whose work we followed had completed their tasks, leaving my team to perform the services we were hired to complete. Because of Jay's thorough preparation, it was easy for us to complete our portion of the Lee project on-time, and with All Seasons Lawn making a profit. With all of our working requirements met, and all of our materials promptly provided, All Seasons Lawn was able to complete our responsibilities to the customer.
When All Seasons Lawn finished the bulk of our work, Jay worked closely with my team and myself to ensure that every aspect of our obligation was fulfilled to customers satisfaction. After speaking with the customer at the end of our job, I am certain that the customer was happy with our work. I expect that JNC found our work to be above par.
After the jobs completion and Jay signed off on our work, my billing department submitted our remaining balance. I was pleasantly surprised that payment was received almost immediately. As with any company, All Seasons Lawn has payroll, mortgage and supply expenses to pay. It is a pleasure to work with companies like JNC that make payment in such a timely manner.
In summary, I would like to personally say that I look forward to working with JNC in the near future. Please keep us in mind for any landscaping jobs. All Seasons Lawn will quickly act on any opportunity to work with JNC again.
