It is with much pleasure that I commend Jay Barkl of JNC Development and his craftsmen for an exemplary effort in the construction of our office/ game room over the garage at our residence. It was our luck that we called him to our residence for an estimate on the project. Jay, from day one, has done all in his power to move this project through its many stages smoothly and seemingly effortlessly. I know from many other projects that this is difficult at times and requires expertise and professionalism to make all the ends come together. There wasn't a time that, if I called or had a question, Jay didn't get back to me quickly. He listened to my ideas and concerns and always found solutions that made me feel like I was part of the project equation.
The quality of craftsmanship during construction has given me good reason to be thankful I asked Jay to help in this undertaking. At the end of each day the workers cleaned up the work site just like Jay said they would. With my elderly mother at home professionalism and language was respectful. The schedule that was set up by Jay was adhered to chapter and verse. I must admit that when Jay said that his company worked through the winter and the heat to our house would not be off he wasn't kidding. When, through no fault of their own, they fell behind schedule, Jay brought in extra men to catch the project to the level of completeness according to the work calendar.
In a time in Reno when building is at a high point and good craftsmen are hard to find, JNC Development was and is a godsend. So much work being done around town is not anywhere near the quality that JNC provides their customers. I am pleased to recommend JNC to anyone who wishes to add to his or her existing home or business or to build something completely new. They have taken our dream and turned it into reality for us. Thanks, Jay, to you and your very capable men for a job well done!

Dear Jay,
We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to JNC Development, Inc. ("JNC") for the fantastic outcome to our kitchen remodel project. We are extremely pleased and immensely satisfied with the final product. You have helped us realize our vision and dreams. In fact, it has turned our house into a warm and inviting home that is the envy of all who have seen it.
It was a great pleasure to work with you, the crew of JNC, and the affiliated contractors. Every single person associated with JNC through this project exhibited professionalism, an exemplary work ethic, and a positive, friendly attitude in pursuit of the highest quality of work. The work was performed timely with extreme attention to perfection and detail. The quality of the work speaks for itself and many who have seen the finished project are not only considering remodel projects of their own, but are convinced that they should seek the help of JNC.
Additionally, we appreciate the opportunity to have been involved and to work closely with you in all aspects of the project. From concept to design through construction and completion, you maintained an excellent commitment to scheduling, communication, and budgeting. As with any project, unforeseen challenges arise but in each case these were overcome by problem solving, flexibility, and client involvement. We always felt involved in the project, and appreciated the opportunity to ask questions, make suggestions, and seek solutions.

We would like to say that working with JNC Development, Inc. was one of the most enjoyable & professional experiences that we have ever encountered.
From the very beginning of the process of developing our lot, Jay Barkl, President of JNC Development, Inc. worked with us to make the process of building our house as worry free as possible. He worked with C. J. Price Residential Design on our development of our plans from the very beginning and I had the pleasure of sitting in on their discussions in regards to this process. Mr. Barkl's knowledge in regards to building homes helped in developing the plans that were used to build our home. The changes he recommended saved us tens of thousands of dollars in the final cost of our home.
From breaking ground to the finished product, Mr. Barkl had everything scheduled out. When we were told that a phase was to be completed on a said date it was. The different crews that were used were all very professional. The President of our homeowner's association & architect committee had never seen a cleaner or more courteous work force in all of the years he has lived there. He walked through our house with us after it had just been framed and made the comment that there was not a home in this development that was built to this high a standard.
We worked closely with him in regards to picking out the materials and products that went into the completion of our home. One of the biggest problems when building a home is keeping the cost within a set budget. When materials came in higher than projected, Mr. Barkl would call a meeting to discuss options that could be used to keep the project on budget. Through this whole process we've gained a great respect for the knowledge and straight forwardness of the answers that were given. The process worked well and we are very pleased with the final product.
We would recommend JNC Development, Inc. for any custom home building project.
